Your day to day:

To carry out the design, the delivery of the Network equipment and the Software for the provision of Enterprise solutions over Fixed Access Networks for standard products or bespoke projects. This includes:

  • Perform Network engineering activities related to the design of the B2B networks in Romania. Test and Accept new SW releases / HW platforms on the fixed network in scope, including Routers and Switches, 
  • Define  the network evolution and the vendors management for the  Fixed Access enterprise connectivity networks (ME, L2 FO connectivity) including the  related Software applications 
  • Design and implement any “off the shelf “ or “custom made”  Software tools for the provisioning or management of services over the  Fixed Access Enterprise connectivity networks (ME, L2 FO connectivity)
  • Coordinate  with  other NSE teams and Technology teams (VBTS, FAD, VNO) the services design & delivery, provide work-orders for network design and maintains services and devices inventories through the respected Software applications 
  • To act as ambassador of the Fixed Access Engineering towards the local market EBU and VBTS department aiming the quality of the services and the best “customer experience”. 

With these activities, you will have a great impact on our business:

 

  • Fulfilment of Enterprise Fixed Services design and delivery in local markets for B2B Networks and respect SW Applications – including B2B Access Equipment for customer connectivity 
  • Work-ordering of HW & SW configurations and vendor and partner management for delivery 
  • Developing/maintaining Software tools and scripts for 

- Network provisioning 
- Inventory & resources 
- SW updates of NW equipment 
- Security compliance 
- LCM Reporting 

  • Budget Execution: Define the annual budget for B2B IP Optical (Core) & B2B Access -  Preparing the BoM of Ordering the B2B NW Equipment & Software.  mitigating any challenges or place the demand for additional funds with proper justification
  • Delivery of bespoke solutions for customer bids/feasibilities & RFQs
     

With these skills, you are a great candidate:

Must have technical / professional qualifications and Experience: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
  • English language (Fluent oral and written)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Fixed Services environment (Engineering or Operations)
  • Good knowledge of the following technologies: 

- IP Routing 
- SW engineering (scripts, SDN)
- NW Management SW

  • Ability to negotiate and adopt, to achieve smooth and efficient delivery in the market of responsibility


Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

  • Relevant Networking & Software engineering related certifications are desirable and will be considered a plus
