Your day to day:

As a software developer working for Vodafone Romania Technologies, you are responsible with the development of products, services, functionalities, and specific software modules, as well as providing support for them. The solutions are complex, containing databases, business logic, user interfaces and integrations with other components and systems.

The role involves collaboration with an international team whose purpose is to deliver solutions for enterprise customers across the whole world.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Develop well-structure code following company standards
  • Document enhancements made and system changes
  • Ability to excel in a distributed team model environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Provide input to impact analysis on other systems
  • Handle 3rd level of support for the applications developed

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Relational database design
  • PostgreSQL (expertise on other relational DBs is a plus)
  • Linux knowledge is an advantage
  • Ruby on Rails expertise
  • Bootstrap
  • React
  • Git/Github knowledge

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in software development (object-oriented programming):  Javascript, Ruby, SQL, web technologies, web services
  • Knowledge in software lifecycle management
