Your day to day:

The Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics (AIDA) organization drives the Analytics & Data Ocean Services transformation for Vodafone. The Cloud Cost Controller will provide support to individual GCP projects and programmes to manage and track budget, main responsibilities.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

•    Monitoring of Cloud costs (e.g., usage, licences) across available web interfaces, shared repositories and direct interview with cost owners;
•    Develop tracking and reporting tools on Cloud costs on Excel or other reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI);
•    Triggering remediation / mitigation actions with cost owners in case of overspending;
•    Suggest reallocation of resources in case of underspending;
•    Keep cost forecasts constantly updated according to actual usage and spending pattern.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

•    Excellent English skills (verbal and written);
•    Good understanding of project management frameworks;
•    Very good knowledge of Excel and/or any other reporting and analysis tool;
•    Experience in managing programme CapEx  and OpEx budgets;
•    Experience of 4+ years in a role that requires extensive data analysis and structure of big volumes of data.
