Your day to day:

At VOIS we are a dynamic company building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. We are seeking a Java Maintenance Developer to join our team. This role focuses on maintaining, supporting, and optimizing existing applications. If you enjoy troubleshooting, improving system stability, and ensuring seamless operation, this position is for you!

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Support Spring-based applications (Spring, Spring-Batch)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship application upgrades.
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure high standards of code quality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in production environments.
  • Administer Jenkins & SonarQube (server patching, upgrades, plugin updates).
  • Manage and improve Jenkins build pipelines.
  • Conduct JDK upgrades and ensure system compatibility.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend efficiency improvements.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Strong expertise with Spring, Spring-Batch.
  • Proficient in working with Oracle DBs (relational databases) and ORMs like Hibernate.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices in software development.
  • Experience with Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines) and Sonar administration
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools.
  • Ability to work autonomously and adapt to legacy systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
