About this Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to support 1st Line Operations for the Vodafone Hungary network within a multi-vendor environment. This role focuses on real-time monitoring, incident management, and first-level troubleshooting to ensure service continuity, network performance, and timely issue resolution aligned with operational KPIs.

What you’ll do

  • Monitor and maintain the Vodafone Hungary network continuously using fault management and network monitoring systems
  • Perform first-level preventive and corrective troubleshooting to ensure service continuity and minimise restoration time
  • Manage incidents end-to-end, including detection, resolution, escalation, and closure
  • Dispatch field engineers or contractors when on-site intervention is required and follow issues through to resolution
  • Collaborate with second line teams to analyse alarms, identify root causes, and eliminate faults
  • Provide timely notifications of network outages and support incident coordination activities
  • Maintain and update fault management systems and operational procedures throughout the incident lifecycle
  • Ensure all faults are managed in line with agreed service levels
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing by creating knowledge articles to improve first-time resolution rates
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance technical capabilities and maintain service excellence

Who you are

  • Comfortable working with various web-based and Windows applications
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Experience in a customer service or operational environment within telecoms, IT, or a data centre is beneficial
  • Proficient in Hungarian and English; additional German language skills are advantageous
  • Basic understanding of telecommunications services is desirable
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on service quality
