About this Role
What you will do
- Deliver first line operations for Vodafone’s network infrastructure in a multi‑vendor environment.
- Monitor and maintain network performance using umbrella fault management tools and specific NMS platforms.
- Perform preventive and corrective troubleshooting to maintain service continuity and meet agreed NOC and network KPIs.
- Dispatch field engineers or contractors for on‑site support when required and follow up until resolution.
- Provide incident management activities, including technical assessment and timely escalation to second line teams.
- Issue notifications related to service outages and collaborate with the Incident Manager when escalations are triggered.
- Support the creation and maintenance of NOC processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with second line teams to develop and refine alarm analysis and fault resolution procedures.
- Maintain and update fault management systems throughout the incident lifecycle.
- Participate in internal and external training programmes to strengthen technical capabilities.
Who you are
- Strong command of English and Czech (mandatory).
- Comfortable working with web‑based and Windows applications.
- Effective communicator with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Ideally brings experience working in a busy technical support, service centre, or telecoms environment.
- Nice to have:
- Knowledge of telecom technologies such as GSM, UMTS, LTE, IP, PDH, SDH, and DWDM.
- IT certifications such as CCNA, or willingness to pursue such qualifications.
- Technical university studies in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Information Technology.
- 1–2 years of experience in network operations or maintenance.
