About this Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative IT Business Analyst to support the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance software applications. This role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of business analysis in software development, who are eager to grow their skills in a dynamic and inclusive environment. You will work closely with stakeholders and software engineers to ensure clarity of scope and successful delivery of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

What you will do

  • Assist in identifying business challenges by gathering and organising both technical and non-technical information under the guidance of senior colleagues.
  • Support effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring timely and clear information flow within the project team.
  • Contribute to the documentation of functional and non-functional requirements and manage them throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in the analysis and definition of project initiatives, support high-level planning, and assist during delivery and implementation phases.
  • Ensure requirements are documented and traceable in alignment with the defined customer experience, with support from experienced team members.
  • Learn and apply modern tools and techniques for requirements gathering and process modelling to enhance internal efficiencies.

Who you are

  • Possess a basic understanding of business analysis within software development.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and a growing awareness of the IT industry, software development lifecycle, and digital tools.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders under guidance.
  • Show willingness to learn and apply Agile practices; familiarity with Waterfall is a plus.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Take a proactive approach to identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
  • Open to learning constructive conflict resolution techniques.
  • Detail-oriented and organised in documenting requirements, user stories, and meeting notes.
  • Eager to follow established processes and contribute to their enhancement.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, with the ability to participate in meetings and produce documentation.
