Your day to day:

As a Junior DBA, you will contribute to the development and implementation of software solutions and database management systems. You will assist in all stages of IT projects, from defining requirements to implementing and testing solutions.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Assist in defining technical requirements and evaluating IT solutions
  • Develop and implement database scripts/programs (PL-SQL, TSQL, Perl, etc.)
  • Optimize and improve existing database solutions to meet business needs
  • Provide support for IT transformation projects and ensure service availability
  • Participate in troubleshooting and problem resolution during critical incidents
  • Perform proactive maintenance and contribute to evaluating new technologies
  • Support 24x7 on-call services as needed

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Knowledge of database administration and programming (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Basic skills in PL/SQL and UNIX/Linux shell scripting
  • Familiarity with SQL tuning and database optimization
  • Understanding of ITIL and database security principles
