About this Role
What you will do
- Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive user documentation for a range of software applications.
- Gather information from business requirements, design documents, product demos, and interviews with subject matter experts.
- Create audience‑appropriate, role‑based documentation.
- Develop content using standard authoring tools, templates, and single‑sourcing methodologies.
- Edit UI text, including prompts, labels, and error messages, ensuring consistency and clarity.Manage content review cycles and collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine documentation.
- Deliver high‑quality documentation within agreed timelines.
- Analyse existing and new content for opportunities to streamline, reuse, or optimise through single‑sourcing.
Who you are
- You bring excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- You have strong technical aptitude and are able to learn new systems and tools efficiently.
- You are adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic about continuous learning.
- You have experience working with localisation best practices.
- You have hands‑on experience with MadCap Flare; familiarity with Camtasia, Contentful, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, or GIT is a plus.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in English, Technical Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.You have 4+ years’ experience creating enterprise software documentation.
