What you’ll do

In your role, you will be responsible to ensure compliance with local and Group policies as well as their implementation in Vodafone systems from a financial-accounting perspective.
Maintains the relationship with the external and internal audit, responsible with the preparing of the statutory reports and financial statements required to be submitted to the competent authorities.
 

  • In your role, you will be responsible with implementation and oversee all SOX control requirements align with Vodafone Group Policy and Local Management decisions
  • Prepares the individual financial statements as well as the consolidated financial statements necessary to be submitted to the competent authorities
  • Maintain the relationship with the external and internal auditor on all financial-accounting topics
  • Ensures the completeness and accuracy of the Balance Sheet as the reporting base for both the IFRS-Group and the statutory-OMFP
  • Maintain the correct and complete reporting of all Group financial KPIs 
  • Lead the financial certification process at the half-year and at the year-end according to the calendar provided by Vodafone Group
  • Identify and analyze all financial risks and opportunities in the reporting balance both in IFRS Group and statutory-local
  • Implement all necessary controls to ensure the completeness of the reported information and compliant with the legal and financial requirements
  • Acts as coordinator for the specific finance projects in the finance department

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 5 years in the field of Financial Audit or Finance 
  • Good understanding of business processes in ERP SAP landscape
  • Knowledge of accounting according to RAS and IFRS 
  • Good MS-Office skills (especially in MS-Excel)
  • Your open and communicative nature as well as fluent English skills complete your profile
  • Good communication and relationship skills at different levels;
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize the activity;
  • Change management, good time-management, working with tight deadlines;
  • ACCA or CIMA Certification is an advantage
  • Experience in the Telecom industry is a plus
