About this Role

We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to provide legal support for VOIS Romania and contribute to legal initiatives across the European VOIS organisation. This role offers the opportunity to work in a multinational shared services environment, collaborating with experienced legal professionals across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the Senior Legal Manager, VOIS EU, the successful candidate will support a broad range of legal matters including compliance, privacy, labour law, corporate governance, commercial contracts and cross-country projects across Europe.

What you’ll do

  • Provide local legal support for the day-to-day legal matters of VOIS Romania entities, in alignment with the Senior Legal Manager, VOIS EU.
  • Collaborate closely with VOIS EU Legal, VOIS Legal teams and Vodafone Group Legal teams.
  • Support legal activities relating to privacy, compliance, labour law, mergers and acquisitions, governance, corporate law and commercial law matters.
  • Deliver legal training sessions in accordance with guidance from the Senior Legal Manager, VOIS EU.
  • Review compliance-related documentation, internal policies and contractual clauses.
  • Review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements and similar legal arrangements.
  • Support legal projects including the review of standard contracts, policies and local compliance initiatives.
  • Participate in VOIS EU legal projects, including cross-country agreements covering Romania, Hungary, Albania and Spain.
  • Monitor legislative developments relevant to VOIS Romania and support the implementation of required legal and regulatory changes.
  • Work effectively with external legal counsel where required and support litigation-related activities in partnership with external law firms.
  • Represent VOIS Romania before courts and public authorities where appropriate.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and support the timely resolution of legal matters, escalating issues when necessary.

Who you are

  • Fully qualified legal professional.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Creative and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
  • Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management abilities.
  • Responsive, adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality legal support.
  • Experience in the telecommunications sector and exposure to compliance, commercial law, data protection and corporate law would be advantageous.
  • No criminal background.
