Your day to day:

As the Manager of Infrastructure Design & Delivery area, this role coordinates people and projects focused to deliver infrastructure compliant with Vodafone’s standards.

The teams are focused on specific activities such as: infrastructure design, compute and database build, quality assurance, infrastructure compliance.

In this role, you are responsible of timely delivery of projects, as well as budget optimized delivery. 

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Infrastructure delivery lifecycle ownership from consultancy, design, build to quality assurance, infrastructure compliance on both physical and virtual infrastructures.
  • Understands interdependencies between various teams and investigates root causes. Proactive identification of possible single points of failure, both in people and projects.
  • Negotiates timelines and priorities with customers and stakeholders and lead times.
  • Makes sure delivery and scope are aligned on all infrastructure delivery chains, as well as meeting customers’ expectations in terms of quality, quantity and financials.
  • Timely reporting of projects and programs status to clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinates various teams, motivating and developing their capabilities, as well as constantly providing feedback to direct and indirect reports.
  • Sets objectives and evaluates employees in accordance with their job description and company’s priorities.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and updates in cloud computing and applying this knowledge to improve existing systems and exploring innovative solutions. 

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure delivery or operations.
  • Business analysis understanding, as well as SDLC acumen.
  • Experienced with various delivery methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, SAFe.
  • Effective understanding of: ITIL standards, Public and Private Cloud offerings, Virtualization solution, Datacenter topologies
  • Critical thinking and root cause analysis-oriented thinking
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
