About this Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented specialist to support the live information systems used by telecommunications operators. In this role, the individual will work across RAN, Core, Transport, Transmission, and Access technologies to help ensure network stability, service continuity, and compliance with operational standards. The position involves close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and technical experts while contributing to incident handling, data analysis, and the maintenance of network services.

What you will do

  • Provide first-line technical services for live information systems used by Vodafone OpCos and joint ventures.
  • Perform analytical activities and apply relevant technology knowledge to maintain network performance.
  • Identify, document, and escalate software or hardware deficiencies within defined systems.
  • Record network incidents clearly and accurately in dedicated tools.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal VOIS teams.
  • Support the maintenance of network solutions following established procedures and operator requirements.
  • Detect defects across telecom networks and escalate them to higher support levels when needed.
  • Investigate and correlate technical issues raised by Customer Operations or Service Desk teams and direct them to advanced technical levels.
  • Develop competencies in dedicated software tools relevant to telecom operations.

Who you are

  • Able to understand technical concepts and interpret data effectively.
  • Familiar with architectures and protocols across RAN, Access, Core, Transmission, and fixed/mobile networks.
  • Skilled in working with virtual teams and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple countries.
  • Confident communicator in both English and Romanian.
  • Advantageous: knowledge of equipment technology, information systems, and operating systems used in RAN, Access, Core, and Transport domains.
