About this Role

We are seeking a Network Operations Technician to support the maintenance and operational performance of mobile and fixed telecom networks. This role focuses on analysing, troubleshooting, and escalating network issues across core, access, and transport domains, while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers. The position operates in a dynamic environment with shift-based and on-call responsibilities, ensuring network stability and adherence to performance targets.

What you’ll do

  • Perform telecom network maintenance activities across core, access, and transport technologies
  • Identify, analyse, and escalate software and hardware issues to advanced technical teams
  • Document network incidents accurately within designated systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve operational issues
  • Support network maintenance processes in line with established procedures and customer requirements
  • Detect and escalate faults across GSM, LTE, and 5G networks
  • Investigate and correlate technical issues raised by Customer Operations or Service Desk teams
  • Use dedicated analytical and operational tools to support troubleshooting activities
  • Adhere to internal procedures, operational KPIs, and safety regulations

Who you are

  • Able to understand technical concepts and perform data analysis
  • Familiar with telecom architectures and protocols across mobile and fixed networks
  • Comfortable working in virtual, cross-functional, and international teams
  • Effective communicator in English and Romanian
  • Bring a collaborative and structured approach to problem-solving
  • Secondary education completed; ongoing higher education is considered beneficial
  • Exposure to telecom equipment technologies and operational systems is advantageous
