About this Role

We are seeking an OSS Provisioning Systems Operations Specialist to support 2nd Line Operations for OSS provisioning and monitoring systems in a multi-vendor environment. This role focuses on preventive and corrective troubleshooting, ensuring service quality and continuity for OSS applications. You will collaborate with Engineering and 1st Line Operations to develop procedures for alarm analysis and fault elimination, while assisting with data configuration, software rollout, and integration activities.

What you’ll do

  • Administer provisioning and monitoring platforms, including critical OSS applications.
  • Troubleshoot faults and implement corrective actions, engaging with third-party support when required.
  • Perform daily monitoring and health checks, contributing to incident detection and system optimisation.
  • Participate in projects, process improvements, and configuration verification activities.Interact with technical staff, NOC engineers, and Service Delivery teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Apply strong knowledge of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes (INM, PRM, SRM).Confidently handle ticket systems and auto-routing for efficient issue resolution.

Who you are

  • Ability to create technical instructions and provide 2nd level support for OSS applications.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux OS, application/database administration, and telecom protocols.
  • Experience in service request fulfilment and system/software rollouts.
  • Exposure to virtualisation technologies such as VMware vSphere/ESX and Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong teamwork orientation and proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Familiarity with ITIL-aligned operational practices, including role/access management, security compliance, and accurate documentation (KEDB, inventories, operational guides).
  • University degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in server/application operations and maintenance, and Linux OS/database operations.Willingness to learn programming or scripting languages (experience is a plus).
