About this Role

We are seeking a PMO Specialist – Digital & IT Governance to provide governance coordination and operational support to the Strategic Priorities Digital & IT Governance function. This role plays a critical part in enabling effective programme governance by supporting key forums, ensuring consistent engagement with markets, and maintaining high standards across governance materials, reporting, and follow-up. The individual will act as an operational anchor, allowing senior stakeholders to focus on strategic oversight and stakeholder engagement.

What you will do

  • Support governance events across the Digital & IT Governance framework, including Key Program Reviews (KPR), Key Program SteerCos (KPS), Value Realisation Reviews (VRR), Market Monthly Operational Reviews (MORs), and ad-hoc governance meetings.
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics for governance forums, including scheduling, agenda preparation, attendee management, materials collation, and timely distribution.
  • Support delivery and follow-up for agreed programmes, ensuring actions are tracked and progress is monitored to accelerate strategic outcomes.
  • Maintain and administer the team SharePoint site, ensuring content is well-structured, accurate, version-controlled, and accessible.Align KPR decks and governance materials with market inputs gathered from MORs.
  • Consolidate and quality-check governance decks in line with agreed templates and standards.
  • Ensure all governance documentation is stored and managed through agreed collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint.
  • Engage with market representatives to gather updates, risks, dependencies, and actions for inclusion in governance reporting.
  • Manage distribution lists, attendee trackers, and action logs to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Track actions arising from governance meetings and follow up with accountable stakeholders to ensure timely closure.
  • Support continuous improvement, efficiency, and standardisation of governance processes within the Digital & IT Group CIO function.

Who you are

  • An experienced governance, programme, or project management professional with a minimum of five years’ experience in Digital or IT transformation environments.
  • Confident in working within complex, cross-market or matrix organisations, with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple governance processes in parallel.
  • Advanced user of PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint, with hands-on experience using Jira and Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Comfortable producing, consolidating, and assuring governance reporting and documentation.
  • Fluent in English, with strong coordination and organisational capabilities.
