PMO Specialist - Delivery
What you’ll do
Your day to day:
The role is responsible for providing PMO support for the organization, including follow up of tasks execution, Portfolio Coordination support, facilitation of Programme meetings and governance support. This role supports alignment with strategic objectives and accelerates the safe, scalable adoption of AI by acting as a bridge between Portfolio and Delivery teams, enabling operational excellence and supporting value realization by overseeing KPI tracking and business impact monitoring across AI initiatives.

• Working across the programme team to ensure that actions are followed through and outcomes understood and communicated;
• Act as a single point of contact and subject matter expert for requests for information and support in relation to the programme;
• Own the governance framework and ensure adherence to it. Report metrics as per the requirements;
• Facilitate key programme meetings including management of agendas & content, pre-briefing stakeholders and recording and management of actions as well as ensuring that escalations are followed through and resolved;
• Responsible for the overall programme and project reporting including the quality, completeness and accuracy of content in various tools;
• Work with project managers to support the completion of weekly/monthly project reports;
• Supports project managers in the preparation of governance submissions ensuring quality is maintained in line with agreed standards;
• Where appropriate act in the role of subject matter expert across the portfolio in a given process area to ensure quality, consistency and best practice;
• Maintains the Programme data quality dashboards and reports.
• Uses the dashboard data to identify and implement remediation plans and improvements.
• Primary delegated authority of Portfolio Delivery Lead when they are not available
With these skills you are a great candidate:
• Ability to work independently with stakeholders across all areas of the organisation;
• Ability to work closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders (programme teams) to deliver the highest possible team performance and target programme outcomes;
• Ability to present to senior management
• Experience with planning & delivering projects either in a PM or PMO role;
• Previous experience in working with SAFe framework
• MS Office Practitioner – particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
• Strong organisational and co-ordination skills;
• Project Management / PMO experience preferably backed up with a project management certification (e.g. PMI, SAFe, Agile);
• SAFe certification is preferred.
