PMO Specialist
Your day to day:
You will manage the governance of the IT initiatives capacity along with the IT UK Planning team and Project Management team. The planning team mainly provides support for the IT squads and helps them to operate as independently as possible in an easy way.
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:
- provide analysis, insight, and advice to the Portfolio Program Manager in relation to schedule, budget, scope and RAID.
- act as a single point of contact and subject matter expert for requests for information and support in relation to the program.
- ensure that project budget forecasts are up to date and reconciled to the over-all program budget and that benefits are tracked and reported.
- be the owner of the delivery governance framework and ensure adherence to it. Report metrics to the Portfolio Program Manager.
- be responsible for the overall program and project reporting including the quality, completeness and accuracy of content and data.
With these skills you are a great candidate:
- experience in project planning and delivery in either a PM or PMO role.
- deep knowledge or basic principles of project management.
- project management/PMO experience, preferably supported by a project management qualification (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, DSDM).
- MS Office – especially Excel at expert level.
- strong organizational and coordination skills.
- professional English skills both writing and speaking.
