About this Role

We are seeking a Platform Specialist to join the Platform Architecture and Design function within Mobility Platform Architecture. This role focuses on configuring, maintaining, and optimising enterprise digital platforms that support operational excellence and an improved user experience. The individual will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, contribute to platform evolution through integrations and customisation, and ensure platforms remain reliable, secure, and aligned with organisational objectives.

What you will do

  • Configure, manage, and optimise digital platforms, including user access, workflows, data models, and integrations, in line with defined platform standards.
  • Implement, document, and maintain configuration standards to ensure consistency, efficiency, and audit readiness.
  • Monitor platform performance, identify improvement opportunities, and resolve configuration or integration issues using industry best practices.
  • Conduct periodic audits of platform configurations to ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and alignment with business goals.
  • Integrate third-party tools and services to extend platform functionality and enhance usability.
  • Customise platform features to support new functionalities or evolving business processes.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define test scenarios and actively participate in platform testing activities.
  • Produce and maintain clear documentation covering configurations, customisations, integrations, and updates.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to users and support teams on new features, updates, and recommended practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across IT, operations, and customer support to understand and deliver business requirements effectively.
  • Perform all duties in line with applicable legislation, internal regulations, and occupational health and safety standards, reporting any risks or incidents promptly and cooperating with safety initiatives as required.

Who you are

  • An individual with solid knowledge of databases and information systems.
  • Experienced in system integrations, with working knowledge of APIs, scripting, or database management.
  • Comfortable working within integrated information system environments.
  • Bringing at least 2 years of experience in Information Technology, ideally including around 1 year in a role similar to software or systems engineering.
  • A structured thinker with abstract, conceptual, and forward-looking problem-solving skills.
  • An effective communicator with the ability to influence decisions, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and support negotiations when needed.
  • Educated to Technical University level or equivalent in a relevant field.
