About this Role
What you’ll do
-
• Oversee the development, implementation, or modification of software and hardware solutions, applying Agile practices where relevant.
• Coordinate analysis of technical defects, engaging the appropriate technical teams and ensuring both temporary workarounds and permanent solutions are identified.
• Facilitate collaboration across technical teams to complete actions within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations on the status and progress of investigations and projects.
• Initiate and lead projects aimed at reducing incidents by analysing trends, consolidating alerts, and partnering with technical teams to resolve root causes.
Who you are
-
• Experienced in using BMC Remedy or similar ITSM/ticketing tools for managing incidents, problems, and defects.
• Skilled in managing problem tickets, IT system defects, and projects aligned with ITIL-based problem management processes.
• Confident in coordinating and facilitating technical discussions to identify root causes, document findings, and agree on solutions.
• Proactive in identifying improvement opportunities using structured methodologies such as 5 Whys or Fishbone analysis.
• Strong in stakeholder communication, escalation management, and collaborative problem-solving across technical environments.
• Possess solid understanding of infrastructure services, software, hardware, and networking concepts.
