About this Role
We are seeking a Product Architect with expertise in Cisco SDWAN and SASE technologies to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge SDN and Security products for global business customers. This role involves high-level solution design, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and lifecycle ownership. The successful candidate will collaborate across internal departments, external partners, and Group and Local Markets teams to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality product launches.
What you will do
• Engage with Commercial, Product Management, and Technology Product Owners to define and maintain a robust product backlog.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into comprehensive end-to-end solutions, including cost estimation.
• Own the High-Level Design and ensure alignment with product requirements and compliance standards.
• Act as the technical design authority across architecture, service models, security, privacy, and regulatory policies.
• Lead technical aspects of vendor management, prioritising improvements and innovation.
• Enhance the In-Life Operating Model and manage product lifecycle events, including end-of-life transitions.
• Provide strategic technological guidance and support organisational principles.
• Deliver technical product collateral including service descriptions, options papers, and high-level designs.
• Review supplier documentation and support delivery teams in aligning with product solutions.
• Assess requirements and quantify delivery time and costs.
• Contribute to RFx creation and evaluation processes.
• Ensure timely and budget-compliant product delivery that meets business and customer expectations.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and ensure customers benefit from the latest technologies.
• Document product and solution details for assigned areas.
• Support connectivity services strategy through system architecture and integration.
• Refine end-to-end service models and simplify complex problems for diverse audiences.
Who you are
Essential:
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication and presentation skills
• Expertise in Cisco SDWAN, SASE, and traditional routing
• Experience working with internal stakeholders, external partners, and geographically dispersed teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within strict timelines
• Skilled in handling complex solutions and product lifecycle activities
• Higher education in networking, computer science, or related field
Desirable:
• Knowledge of Mobile and Fixed Networks
• Experience with Agile frameworks
• Proven leadership in telecoms solution design for multinational operators
• Familiarity with cloud-native concepts (AWS, GCP, containers/K8S)
• Understanding of software development, DevOps, API methodology, and gateways
• Exposure to next-gen orchestration and assurance solutions
