Your day to day

You will ensure that the Products and Solutions strategy is translated into robust Roadmap that places the Product & solutions in a leading position in the global technology market. Covering all the local markets interlocks with all it entails of product/solution design, development, production, testing and launch. Guaranteeing an excellent customer experience through monitoring Product & solutions in-life performance.

This global role requires proven experience working effectively with a wide range of senior stakeholders across different Vodafone entities. This role will also be responsible for gathering feedback and requirements to ensure that we are regularly improving our product solutions.

The Sovereign Services Product Manager will be accountable for the E2E global product lifecycle management of the sovereign services that Vodafone offers. The sovereign services product manager will be responsible for the requirements, definition and best practice sharing of our sovereign services framework. This includes developing and managing in life roadmap for people, processes, tools and services catalogues for any EU sovereign offerings. This role will work in a matrixed manner with each portfolio to ensure that services are built within each portfolio practice against a common framework and set of best practices so our services are composable and interoperate in a way that delights our customers and has a consistent, sovereign experience.

 

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

•You will communicate with stakeholders in early stages of a request to drive the alignment between user requirements and functional/non-functional requirements.

•You will develop an 18-month Product & solutions functionalities Life-cycle roadmap and a 12-month short-term plan that includes local markets adoption of the Product/Solution.

•You will design the overall Product & solutions Architecture in terms of design principles, functional blocks, and interfaces.

•You will review and approves design/testing documents and work with technology testing teams to ensure business requirements are satisfied.

•You will test new features and software releases to be deployed in the systems

•You will design E2E Product & solutions architecture related to how it integrates with the different API layers for an API-led connectivity. 

•You will plan the solution/s development according to network evolution, user requirements and Product & solutions life cycle.

•You will create demand/objectives and sized features to the delivery teams in the different portfolio planning increments.

 

With these skills you are a great candidate:

•Strong background in product and solution design

•Expertise in leading excellent customer experience

• Strong Agile product development and delivery experience (e.g. SAFe, Spotify, Scrum) and qualifications

• Autonomous, agile, flexible and results oriented

• Knowledge of the European Telecommunication business 

• Deep Knowledge of the Cloud & Security Products

•Strong understanding of:  Network topologies and standards; Products and Solution designs;Cloud & Security different delivery models; Experience with agile project methodologies: ITIL or ETOM or PRINCE2 or PMI or TOGAF or SAFe Agile
