Your day to day:

The Product Owner is responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle for one or more on-demand projects received through operational handover.

You will execute various aspects of project management in a complex international environment, working with supplier teams, OpCos, and Group Technology.

This role is responsible for ensuring the implementation of hardware and software solutions for the internal client, Group Data Center, within the agreed timeline and specified project costs.

As part of an agile team, the Project Owner is also responsible for implementing agile practices to enhance implementation speed and productivity.

Additionally, this role supports Senior Product Owners in evolving IT products for clients in alignment with Vodafone’s global architecture, gathering requirements, defining product strategy, conducting feasibility analysis, and developing the implementation plan.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Manage all aspects of project management, including scope definition, detailed project planning, budget management, project development, change management, stakeholder engagement, and leading international matrix teams.
  • Provide accurate project progress reporting, risk management, and issue resolution with timely escalations.
  • Actively engage with and manage multiple third-party external teams alongside internal matrix teams.
  • Oversee the procurement of planned software components and ensure their timely availability according to the implementation plan.
  • Ensure operational performance parameters, integrity, and security of databases for IT and telecom applications.
  • Provide support for project implementation at high-quality and efficiency standards.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting specifications.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Strong background in managing projects in international matrix environments.
  • Extensive experience in IT project delivery, particularly in infrastructure implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
