About this Role

We are seeking a Product Owner to manage the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions within the Software & Product Infrastructure domain. This role operates in a complex international environment, working closely with supplier teams, operating companies, and Group Technology stakeholders. The individual will play a key role in shaping product evolution, implementing agile practices, and ensuring that hardware and software solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with Vodafone’s global architecture.

What you will do

  • Build and evolve the technology strategy and integration approach in line with product-level vision and objectives.
  • Collaborate with teams managing VOIS products to define and align technology roadmaps.
  • Produce and deliver comprehensive technology and implementation plans.
  • Partner with Product Managers to agree on product features and delivery priorities.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Solution Designers, and Architects to develop detailed project and delivery plans.
  • Coordinate vendor selection and manage ongoing vendor interactions, including technical requirements, compliance, roadmaps, and performance management.
  • Oversee the implementation of hardware and software solutions for internal customers within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Apply and promote agile practices within the team to enhance delivery speed and productivity.
  • Stay informed about relevant technology trends and vendor developments to ensure VOIS customers benefit from modern, high-quality solutions.

Who you are

  • An experienced Product Owner with hands-on experience using a scalable agile methodology.
  • Skilled in coordinating end-to-end solution design across distributed and virtual teams.
  • Experienced in audits and external audit environments.
  • Knowledgeable in designing and implementing SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS cloud solutions, access management platforms, digital channels, and mobile or fixed telecommunications services.
  • Confident in working with Single Sign-On technologies such as OpenID, SAML, and OAuth, as well as LDAP, ABAC, and RBAC models.
  • Familiar with middleware concepts, web technologies, microservices, mobile networks, and 4G/LTE and 5G technologies.
  • Experienced with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • A clear communicator with strong presentation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledgeable in the software development lifecycle and agile development tools and practices.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
