Program Manager with German
Your day to day:
Within the Italy Service Assurance Center team, New Project Support specialist will be responsible for supporting 2nd level operations local and vertical teams in case of delivery of local projects coming from VBTS/VBI and NSE department (e.g., 5G projects and MPN), analysing technical solution from operations prospective, defining operational technical requirements and maintenance services needed for product management, collecting operations effort for costs evaluation and business case definition, identifying KPIs for SLA monitoring, defining dedicated operative models for main operative scenarios.
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:
• Support technical tenders managed by engineering teams to renew a current product or deliver a new one, defining in collaboration with involved operations teams the list of operational requirements and maintenance services, evaluating Vendor answers and defining the related technical score, participating to the technical meeting with Vendors and other Vodafone teams.
• Support VBTS/VBI teams in answering to tenders to which Vodafone is invited to participate, analysing from operations point of view the proposed technical solution, quantifying with the involved operations teams the economic effort required to operate the solution, supporting business case definition, providing technical answer to insert in the tender technical document.
• Support the definition of dedicated operative models for incident, trouble-ticketing and change-management scenarios in case of products managed by different VF markets or managed in collaboration with the customer.
• Analyse with the involved operations teams the SLA required by the bid to which Vodafone is invited, checking if the SLA are achievable with the current maintenance contracts and, if not, defining what are the possible conditions making SLA reachable.
• Analyse architectural design documents produced by engineering and business teams for new products, evaluating them in relation to resiliency aspects, network connectivity, backup/restore features and reporting any error/lack.
With these skills you are a great candidate:
• Strong ability in Project Management and Activity Governance.
• Good knowledge of mobile and fixed network architectures (2G, 4G, 5G, VoLTE) and main vendors technologies (Nokia, Huawei, Ericsson)
• Knowledge of main software and hardware maintenance services required in Network Operations areas.
• Ability to build business cases collecting costs and effort from all involved teams.
• Ability to interact with different Vodafone teams, organizing and leading meetings with them.
• Ability to build detailed and clear reports and present them to the Management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Good communication skills, English (spoken and written), mandatory German (spoken and written).
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• University degree or higher education.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Technology organizations.
• Proactivity and capacity to manage own activities independently.
• Ability to collaborate in virtual and international teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Good German language level, English advanced level
