Your day to day

The role requires an outstanding ability to plan, lead, monitor and control multiple Programmes and the associated Projects throughout their lifecycles, maximising collaboration amongst involved teams to achieve the expected programmes results, with overall accountability for scope, time, costs, quality, communication, human resources, risk and issue management, procurement and vendor management.

1. Programme Management
•    Set up the governance, strategic & tactical plans, organize and lead all activities as required to successfully achieve   Programme goals, projects and associated objectives

•    Control Programme scope and ensure that the deliverables are on time, compliant with assigned budget and the expected level of quality and Governance 
•    Monitor programme’s and project’s progress including responsibility for Budget and Finance management and addresses the adjustments needed for successful completion for given scope on time and within budget.

2. Communication and Reporting Management
•    Manage customer’s expectations and build-up and maintain an effective communication flow with them and IT Delivery partners within Programme scope. 
•    Co-ordinate economic evaluation/feasibility for managed programmes, sponsoring it to the approval board
•    Collect all the information needed, ensuring a complete alignment on programme’s status and next steps among all involved stakeholders 

 

3. Quality Management
•    Determine programme KPIs upon which the deliverables will be evaluated at its completion
•    Review the quality of the work completed with the Programme’s team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the desired quality 

 

4. Risk & Issue Management
•    Resolving cross-program issues and strategic issues with senior stakeholders.
•    Identify all the risks and issues impacting programmes’ results by effective Risk planning and mitigation. 

 

5. Human Resource Management
•    Engagement of the team getting resources from other organisational entities for the duration of the Programme
•    Recruitment of external / internal technical project managers, to include sift, interview, on-boarding and day to day management of project resource activities.                                      

With these skills you are a great candidate:

•    8-10+ years experience in leading IT Projects or relevant service delivery management experience (infrastructure-related areas is a plus)
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with customers and internal teams to deliver results

•    Fluency in German
•    knowledge of ITIL Service Management practices
•    ability to work across an international and distributed team
