Project Manager Core Transport Operations with German
Your day to day:
Manages the specific sub project related to Core Transport Operations technologies in the transfer of administration, support, integration and optimization activities of various software, hardware and service solutions within Vodafone Germany. This includes sub project tasks for changes to existing software, hardware, service solutions on Vodafone Germany Core Transport Operations (IP-, DWDM-networks,..).
Implements IT Core Transport Operations changes while ensuring their alignment with the Vodafone Germany strategy. Ensures management and harmonization of projects at the regional level in terms of IT software, hardware and services (eg: analysis of technical specifications , development, implementation, integration, testing and acceptance of software, hardware and service solutions, etc.).
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:
• Execution and management of Core Transport sub projects related to IT software, hardware and services.
• Organization and Coordination of project teams
• Analysis - technical and business - and Reporting to the related manager
• Management of project resources according to the mandate received from the client
• Management of technology projects in Core Transport Operations.
• Represents, at the sub project level, one of the interfaces with the engineering teams, as well as with the local operations teams
With these skills you are a great candidate:
- Project management experience in the IT or Telecom industry
- team collaboration spirit and talent to obtain the collaboration of cross-functional project departments and teams (technology)
- Communication and presentation skills, management skills of the parties involved in the project, the ability to influence and deliver results through others
- Ability to identify areas for improvement; experience in leading these improvements in a multidisciplinary organization
- Effectiveness in managing project structures, processes and information systems
- Leading and managing processes for customer satisfaction
- 3-5 years of experience in the IT or Telecom fields
- Good to have: PMP / ITIL Foundation / Prince
- Good German language level, English advanced level
