About this Role

We are seeking a Scrum Master Specialist to guide agile delivery teams in Digital & ZTO, enabling efficient, high‑quality delivery of tools and automation that support Vodafone’s network operations. The individual will coordinate day‑to‑day agile activities, support Scrum and SAFe practices, remove delivery obstacles, and help teams achieve consistent sprint and release outcomes. This role suits someone who thrives in collaborative, fast‑paced environments and enjoys enabling teams to work effectively using agile ways of working.

What you will do

  • Coordinate project delivery using Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
  • Organise and facilitate core Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement sessions, and escalation mitigation calls.
  • Work with squad members to maintain a clear, prioritised and well‑refined backlog aligned with measurable outcomes.
  • Define delivery timelines, identify risks, implement mitigation activities and ensure deliverables are achieved.
  • Support conflict resolution and remove impediments impacting delivery progress.
  • Manage each sprint in collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure all sprint activities are completed.
  • Coordinate workflow using visualisation boards and delivery data.
  • Promote effective collaboration and communication between stakeholders.
  • Ensure teams follow Scrum or SAFe principles and embrace continuous improvement.
  • Support teams in implementing agile‑driven changes effectively.
  • Use delivery data to provide reliable forecasts and progress reports.
  • Participate in the Agile Community of Practice as a contributor and ambassador for agile best practice.
  • Facilitate customer‑facing meetings to provide updates on product and project progress.

Who you are

  • Experienced in IT or Telco operations with a strong record of achieving delivery outcomes.
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master within software development teams (desirable).
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks, including Scrum, SAFe and Kanban.
  • Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in cloud environments.
  • Comfortable working in cross‑team, multicultural and distributed environments.
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to promote collaboration and clarity.
  • Proactive problem‑solver able to minimise overhead tasks and manage interdependencies.
  • Effective relationship‑builder with the ability to foster inclusive team cultures.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple activities in time‑sensitive situations.
  • Experience working in business‑critical environments.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Professional experience within the Telco industry is preferred.
