About this Role

We are seeking a Security Compliance & Assurance Specialist to ensure that policies, procedures, and internal control objectives within Vodafone Cloud and Infrastructure (VCI) are effectively designed, implemented, and maintained. The role focuses on aligning services with regulatory and audit requirements such as NIS2, PCI-DSS, and ISAE 3402, while acting as a key point of contact during audits. This position supports secure transitions from on-premises environments to private and public cloud infrastructures and drives continuous improvement across compliance processes.

What you’ll do

  • Manage assigned controls end-to-end, including design, documentation, implementation, and execution
  • Coordinate audit activities—from planning through evidence submission to resolution
  • Act as the main contact for internal and external audits within the assigned scope
  • Collaborate with central teams, VCI management, local markets, and auditors
  • Identify risks and gaps, and take proactive action to mitigate them
  • Monitor compliance and ensure timely remediation of identified issues
  • Implement new controls and activities in response to audit requirements
  • Improve processes to ensure simplicity, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Develop control documentation and templates alongside service and product owners
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and services across cloud and on-premise environments

Who you are

  • Experienced in IT internal or external audits (minimum 5 years), including NIS2 and similar frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of controls such as access management, change management, backup and recovery, and security policies
  • Familiar with PCI-DSS, ISAE 3402, ISO standards (ISO 27001, ISO 20000, ISO 9000), and GDPR
  • Understanding of cloud and data centre technologies (on-premises and cloud environments)
  • Skilled in project coordination and working with cross-functional and virtual teams
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective communication skills with a collaborative approach
  • Fluent in English
  • Relevant certifications such as CIA, CISA, CRISC, or CompTIA are advantageous
