Your role in a nutshell:

Are you an experienced auditor or a security professional? Would you like to help us secure Vodafone? We are Corporate Security, keeping Vodafone secure across our global footprint. We are hiring to our global Risk, Policy & Assurance team.

As the Senior Specialist of the team, you will:

•    Liaise with Group and local stakeholders and help shaping security culture
•    Realise our assurance plan by leading and delivering remote and on-site reviews, coordinating self-assessment of controls and supporting the Security community
•    Take part in maintaining our global policy & control framework.
You will learn about different domains from Business Resilience through Fraud & Investigations to Physical Security and gain an insight into how the telecommunications industry works. 
 

What you will like in your role:

A job where no two days are the same: you could find yourself in conversations about new products in the morning and improving anti-fraud controls in the afternoon, supported by security experts from different continents. You will:
•    Develop a deep understanding, through formal and on-the-job training, of our assurance methodology, Security domains, and the countries we operate in
•    Plan, lead and support our security experts’ self-assessment of their controls across the Group
•    Deliver and support on-site reviews when required
•    Train our Security community and build relationships, acting as an enabler in creating security culture
•    Support the global team in improving our security controls, policies and risk management framework as needed

What will you bring to the team:

•    Ability to understand, analyse and syntesise complex information
•    Literacy in Microsoft Office: advanced use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
•    Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain professional relationships, often virtually
•    Managing a dynamic, fast-paced working environment where prioritising, tracking tasks to completion and consistent, high-quality delivery are critical 
•    Understanding of, or experience in the telecommunications industry
