About this Role

We are seeking a Software Developer to join our Software & Product Infrastructure team in Bucharest. This role involves designing and developing complex software solutions, including databases, business logic, user interfaces, and integrations, while also providing Level 3 support. You will work in a collaborative, international environment contributing to solutions delivered to enterprise customers worldwide.

What you’ll do

  • Develop well-structured, maintainable, and well-documented code in line with organisational standards
  • Document system enhancements and technical changes
  • Collaborate effectively with a distributed, international team across different time zones
  • Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines
  • Plan and manage delivery of agreed objectives, milestones, and outputs
  • Ensure software meets initial requirements, covering implementation and continuous integration
  • Provide accurate time and effort estimates for technical deliverables
  • Support developed solutions at Level 3, ensuring stability and performance

Who you are

  • Experience (minimum 2 years) in software development using technologies such as Java Enterprise, Spring, Spring Boot
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Foundational knowledge of the software development lifecycle (development, testing, integration)
  • Knowledge of relational database design and data normalisation
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN
  • Awareness of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, XML, and web services
  • Exposure to relational and non-relational databases
  • Basic knowledge of Linux (administration, scripting) is advantageous
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum) is beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in English (B2 or higher); additional languages are advantageous
  • Interest in internet technologies, mobile applications, and communication systems
