About this Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance software products, services, and modules within the Software & Product Infrastructure department. This role involves building complex solutions that include databases, business logic, user interfaces, and integrations, while collaborating with international teams to deliver high‑quality applications for enterprise customers worldwide. The individual will also support existing applications and contribute to the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

What you will do

  • Develop well‑structured code that aligns with VOIS standards.
  • Document system enhancements, modifications, and technical changes.
  • Collaborate effectively within a distributed, international team, managing multiple parallel projects.
  • Support the setup and development of project teams when required.
  • Provide input for impact analyses across dependent systems.
  • Coordinate code development and delivery activities across the full product lifecycle.
  • Produce accurate time and effort estimates for new features and enhancements.
  • Deliver 3rd‑level technical support for developed applications.

Who you are

  • Experienced in relational database design, normalisation, and optimisation.
  • Skilled in PL/SQL query development.
  • Familiar with version control systems (Git, GitLab, GitHub, SVN).
  • Competent in Linux administration, maintenance, and scripting.
  • Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Experienced in developing software for web, mobile, or communications technology.
  • Able to foster an innovative environment and adapt communication to achieve project objectives.
  • Capable of coordinating small development teams.
  • Possesses strong understanding of software lifecycle management and related best practices.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in object‑oriented software development using Java Enterprise, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, React, Angular, SQL, web technologies, and web services.
