About this Role

We are seeking a Marketplace Solution Architect to design and shape end-to-end solution architectures that support Vodafone Business digital platforms and marketplace offerings. This role focuses on translating business requirements into scalable, secure and compliant technical designs that enhance customer experience across local and global markets. The individual will work closely with enterprise architects, platform owners, technical designers and local market stakeholders to deliver robust marketplace solutions aligned to Vodafone’s technology strategy.

What you will do

  • Analyse business requirements and customer needs to create end-to-end solution architectures and designs.
  • Lead technical impact assessments and define viable architectural options aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Coordinate solution architecture across the marketplace ecosystem, balancing delivery timelines, cost, quality and compliance.
  • Contribute to marketplace technology strategy and solution roadmaps.
  • Act as a technology focal point for local markets, providing guidance and architectural leadership.
  • Evaluate, assess and manage technology vendors and third-party solutions.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and vendor roadmaps to ensure continuous platform improvement.
  • Produce high-quality architectural outputs including technical designs, impact assessments, technology roadmaps, test strategies and acceptance documentation.

Who you are

  • An experienced solution architect with a background in agile product or platform development within technology or telecommunications environments.
  • Skilled in creating end-to-end solution designs for digital channels, e-commerce platforms and customer-facing cloud solutions.
  • Knowledgeable in software development life cycles and familiar with both agile and structured delivery methodologies.
  • Confident in stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation across global and virtual teams.
  • Technically grounded, with understanding of digital channels, APIs, middleware, microservices, cloud platforms and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • A collaborative problem-solver with a growth mindset and a focus on delivering value for customers.
