Your day to day:

Participate in software/program solution development and implementation projects in accordance with client requirements and job competencies.

Contributes to the implementation of new IT projects in all phases including requirements definition, planning, analysis, estimation as well as prioritization and ensures implementation and testing of software solutions.

Provides operational management of implemented data storage solutions.

Develops scripts/programs that help expand the functionalities of IT solutions and automates recurring activities.

  • Participate in all stages of IT projects contributing to the implementation of new software solutions by:
    • defining technical requirements
    • evaluating different IT solutions
    • developing code/scripts
    • testing functionalities and implementing applications/platforms according to the competences of the role
  • Develop and customize scripts and software related to the data storage area.
  • Performs testing of newly developed software solutions ensuring that they meet initial requirements and required functionality and performance characteristics.
  • Provides support/documentation/execution of software upgrade activities for the data storage area.
  • Provides consultancy (technical expertise) for complex projects related to the data storage area.
  • Implements the professional development plan established by the management and keeps the direct manager informed about the progress of the plan and highlights areas where support is required to improve the learning process.
  • Proactively engages in complex technical activities while ensuring proper planning, documentation, and successful execution.

  • Knowledge of office systems and IT equipment (hardware and software)
  • Documentation capabilities
  • Problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines for execution.
  • Ability to work in remote and distributed teams.
  • English (written and spoken) – average level
  • General knowledge of information storage technology and information systems administration
  • Cisco SAN MDS and Brocade SAN knowledge
  • Knowledge of Linux shell scripting operating system basics
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Knowledge of general security principles
