Your day to day:

Design and develop complex configurations for our storage infrastructure on our global environment.
Responsible of supporting Vodafone’s key business applications as customer care, billing, e-commerce, SAP, cloud.
 

With these activities, you will have a great impact on our business:

•   Researching and evaluating all storage technologies, understanding exactly how they operate and how they will succeed or fail in our unique environment.
•   Participate in complex activities focusing on proper time management and provide equal contribution within the team on managing daily tasks and projects.
•   Root cause analysis assistance during complex issues (including coordination & involvement of third party resources/vendor/multiple teams) to ensure elimination of underlying causes of incidents.
•   Develop procedures and documentation to ensure successful transition of storage platforms into operational support.
•   Contribute to our automation initiatives, having the opportunity to develop new ideas that will add value in our ways of working.
•   Assure 24hx7 support through planning of proper on-call duty and using external vendor involvement as required.

With these skills, you are a great candidate:

•   IT systems administration experience < 1 years
•   To be able to operate and maintain the administration of storage devices, and related IT infrastructure components
•   Basic knowledge about implemented hardware and software solutions
•   Working for international customers in cross-cultural teams is substantial in infrastructure services
•   Basic knowledge on enterprise and midrange storage
•   Unix, Linux Skills, Python, Bash, KornShell scripting
•   Experience in cloud computing and virtualization concepts
•   Network skills, ITIL knowledge, high understanding of security principles and SOX regulations
