About this Role
What you’ll do
- Deliver second-line technical support for network applications, platforms, and systems.
- Support the planning, assessment, implementation, rollout, and preparation of change requests.
- Manage incidents, problems, and service requests, including workarounds, changes, and follow-up actions.
- Contribute to the timely preparation of major incident reports for high-priority incidents and support the implementation of appropriate corrective measures.
- Collaborate with external vendors to define requirements, investigate technical issues, and support the delivery of professional services.
- Contribute to the definition and monitoring of service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support knowledge sharing across the team and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Assist with technical service ramp-up activities, including installation, configuration, and coordination of setup tasks for network platforms.
- Monitor service performance and support the delivery of stable, high-availability customer services.
Who you are
- Technical knowledge or experience of IMS Core Architecture, IP networking, switching, and routing technologies.
- Good understanding of telecommunications protocols such as SIP, MSRP, DIAMETER, and SS7.
- Experience in troubleshooting and configuring endpoints and telephony features.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Red Hat environments, including server maintenance activities.
- Understanding of software lifecycle management concepts and associated best practices.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge, with the ability to understand, maintain, or modify existing scripts using technologies such as Java, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, or Bash.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to technical troubleshooting.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and commitment to delivering reliable customer services.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced technology environment while maintaining quality and service standards.
