Your day to day:

  • Responsible for keeping BSS tools and processes up and running and complying with Vodafone and security policies – frontline operations
  • Team Lead Application Operations, the front-line technical support team, provides support and collaborates with software developers to deliver and improve the BSS applications in Vodafone's portfolio for customers in the local market. It operates and ensures high service availability, regularly develops automation scripts and constantly seeks to optimize existing working methods. Performs modifications and maintenance work to the software solutions used by the customer and ensures that all BSS applications run within normal parameters.

• Coordination of Application operations of the First line team, in order to achieve the agreed objectives

• Executes or manages incidents, problems and service requests, including the implementation of alternative solutions.

• Evaluates employees' performance and potential against their goals and development plan by regularly holding 1-2-1 meetings

• Provides input for planning, evaluating, implementing, developing, and preparing production migration phases and modifications/changes in software code and networking.

• Provides technical support for BSS processes and systems: troubleshooting, service restoration, problem investigation, change implementation

• Regularly identify opportunities for improvement/automation.

• Assists in building knowledge and skills within the team and works to continuously improve customer service.

• Managing long-term and long-term relationships with Vodafone's internal and external partners to ensure SLA compliance and improve services for application operating services in line with aligned financial figures.

• Create, maintain and improve the relationship with key stakeholders

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Knowledge of BSS and IAM processes, user management interfaces and processes
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills in technical areas
  • Leads and manages multiple priorities, with the ability to prioritize tasks in different work efforts
  • 2-3 years of management experience in coordinating a team responsible for system operations, maintenance of network platforms in the environment of large-scale enterprises.
  • ITIL Intermediate Certification(s)
  • Oracle/SQL: Select statements about schemas; table joins
  • Script creation for monitoring: bash, SQL, JS
  • Good knowledge to change SQL/Java scripts
  • Knowledge Unix, Linux            
  • Knowledge WebLogic             
  • Database: common knowledge/understanding of Oracle DBs

 

Language requirements:

  • Fluent in written/verbal English
  • Fluent in German in writing/speaking (C2)
