Your day to day

As a Technical Product Owner, you will be part of an international team, responsible for designing, delivering and maintaining the IT platforms and applications that underpin the diverse range of products and services offered by our Vodafone Business division for our customers. You will be responsible for applications across all lifecycle phases, such as strategic planning, implementation and change, acting as the link between business needs and IT operations, ensuring seamless application development and effective lifecycle management.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • Perform analysis of product requirements and business demands and have ownership on feature definition
  • Lead the decision-making process for application changes and enhancements, driving the development of solutions that improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, translating them into technical specifications for development, while ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, managing development timelines, cost estimations, and quality assurance to ensure high-performing, stable, and reliable applications.
  • Balance between compliance to requirements and delivery times/costs/quality
  • Support IT operations in maintaining the seamless functionality of mission-critical systems, identifying and resolving technical issues swiftly to prevent business disruptions.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of Java-based applications, Oracle DB, and hands-on experience with integrations and middleware solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, coordinating with both technical and business units to drive solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Expertise in IT lifecycle management, application security, and data privacy, with a keen eye for compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle technical challenges, improve process efficiency, and ensure the long-term scalability of critical systems.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
