About this Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer to join our Software & Product Infrastructure team in Bucharest. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and enterprise services meet the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in the software development lifecycle by identifying defects early, improving testing processes, and collaborating closely with development and design teams to deliver robust and reliable software solutions.
What you will do
- Design and execute comprehensive testing procedures to identify software vulnerabilities and ensure product quality.
- Develop and implement automated testing scripts using programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or PHP.
- Collaborate with software developers to define verification processes and validate software functionality.
- Analyse and document software bugs, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain test environments, test cases, test scripts, and quality gate reports.
- Develop use cases, functional specifications, and user experience test cases.
- Troubleshoot software issues and contribute to the finalisation of software systems for deployment.
- Coordinate with design teams to address application weaknesses.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of QA processes, tools, and supporting technologies.
Who you are
- A professional with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role.
- Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or PHP.
- Experienced in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, and Postman.
- Knowledgeable in SDLC and Agile Software Development methodologies.
- Skilled in SQL, PL/SQL, and other data management query languages.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiar with design quality standards and user experience considerations.
