We work with customers across 28 countries from 10 VOIS locations: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.
About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Senior Software Engineer to join our Global User Access Management (UAM) team. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining a central account repository that ensures secure, compliant, and auditable identity and access management across Vodafone’s diverse datacentre technologies. The successful candidate will lead software delivery, write high-quality code, and support the integration of access management solutions into the OneUAM tool stack.
What you will do
- Coordinate end-to-end software delivery, from design through development, testing, and continuous integration.
- Write and maintain high-quality, scalable code, especially in complex areas of the product.
- Provide expert consultation to internal and external stakeholders on UAM workflow automation and integration.
- Design and architect new software solutions to meet evolving access management needs.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot errors, and ensure codebase cleanliness and maintainability.
Who you are
- Proficient in Python; experience with Django is a plus.
- Strong command of SQL and database structures.
- Solid understanding of access management concepts across platforms such as Cloud, OS, DB, AD, LDAP, and IDM.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledgeable in SOX, GDPR, and datacentre process standards.
- Holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experienced in datacentre infrastructure and automation tools.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Skilled in coordinating work across international, distributed teams using methodologies like SCRUM or PRINCE2.
