Agile Project Manager
Your day to day:
The Agile Project Manager (APM) is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering agile initiatives that provide exceptional business value to users. The APM is responsible for managing multiple concurrent high visibility workstreams/initiatives using a mixture of waterfall and agile methods in a fast-paced environment that cross multiple business divisions.
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:
- Lead the the delivery of projects/epic/capability delivery in a Leading SAFe Agile context, through active sponsorship, leadership and involvement in specific initiatives to ensure they meet time, cost and quality requirements
- Work closely with project and business managers responsible for delivery of the constituent workstreams within the programmes
- Ensure adherence to the Lean Agile Delivery Model. Accurate progress reporting and issue/risk management with timely and effective escalation
- Engagement and management of third parties alongside internal matrix team
With these skills you are a great candidate:
- The ability to combine proven project management and Agile delivery skills, in a cross functional matrix environment, to achieve on time, within budget delivery of business value.
- Minimum of 2 years experience of successful project delivery of telecommunications/IT product development in both traditional and Agile delivery frameworks.
- Experience of creating and presenting progress reports to Agile programme managers and senior business managers, with capability of influencing at F/E band level.
- Experience of issue resolution and complex dependency management in a matrix environment with external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of working with scrum, Kanban, Agile DSDM, Scaled Agile frameworks
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Prince 2 or equivalent
- Leading SAFe or equivalent
- University degree
