What you’ll do

In your role, you will ensure compliance with statutory filing obligations and providing appropriate financial information on the tax position for internal and external reporting purposes. 

 

  • In your role, you will ensure accuracy and timeliness of tax computations, payments and returns;
  • Ensure that the financial information for tax in the internal and external reporting documentation processes is accurate and provides a true and fair representation of the assets and liabilities of the local entities;
  • Review internal and external documents which contain any tax or potentially tax relevant data or content for Vodafone Romania;
  • Prepare tax returns and the related supporting documentation;
  • To be involved in interaction with external auditors and tax authorities during the tax audits;
  • Provide input and recommendations to other departments in order to create business synergies, drive value and improve controls;
  • To be updated with the fiscal law and to apply the related amendments in the daily work;. 
  • Ensure Group Tax Reporting compliance by working together with the Tax Manager and Tax Team leader on preparing the necessary reports;
  • Apply all necessary controls to ensure the completeness of the reported information and compliant with the legal and financial requirements.

Who you are

  • 4-5 years tax experience – taxes/finance and/or the profession;
  • Education – University Degree, Finance – Accounting or Taxes would be a plus;
  • Experience of dealing at a high level with Senior Executives across a multitude of disciplines.
  • Experience of dealing with domestic and international taxation authorities and Governments.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills. Able to communicate tax issues to non-tax specialists and senior management.
  • Good MS-Office skills (especially in MS-Excel)
  • Your open and communicative nature as well as fluent English skills complete your profile
  • Good communication and relationship skills at different levels;
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize the activity.
