What you’ll do

• Consolidates and analyzes financial and business information to help make investment decisions;

• Verify and reconcile the financial and operational reports related to Vodafone Romania's investments;

• Analyzes the investment part, interprets the variations versus the budget;

• Understands the financial data structure of the company, is a promoter of digitization and automation in the financial department by understanding existing tools (dashboard, BI tools) and proposes improvements and simplifications in reporting & existing financial processes.

Who you are

Financial control, reports and analyses

  • Ensures compliance with the local governance of investment approval and ensures the up-to-date maintenance of their tracking information systems;
  • Offers suggestions for its improvement, in accordance with the requirements of the company's management;
  • Prepares regular reports in order to monitor and control the planning and execution of investment projects from a financial point of view;
  • Continuously develops and updates the investment reports on the internal structure, analyzes the results and explains the variations together with Sr. Finance BP Capex and communicates them to the main stakeholders in the company;
  • Ensures the monthly registration of the capitalization of salary expenses of internal employees; regularly adjusts the procedure according to Vodafone Group recommendations;
  • Regularly updates the estimates regarding the planning of the execution of the investment plans.
  • Maintains the reporting & monitoring of the budget execution for the investment area, monthly updating the budget report approved by CAPEX;
  • Effectively identify and communicate risks and potential financial impact through analysis and providing visibility to the organization's leaders;
  • It permanently ensures compliance with the annual targets related to the investment budgets. Communicates to the management of the company the changes that have occurred in the planning and execution of the investment budget, proposes solutions to adjust it to fit into the proposed targets.

Special projects

 

  • Actively participates in multi-functional projects within the Vodafone community, providing information and analyzes that support the purpose of these projects;
  • Actively participates in various internal Vodafone projects for the analysis of business solutions, providing information and analyzes that support the purpose of these projects;
  • Generates and implements ideas for automating and simplifying financial reporting processes.

The relationship with business partners

  • Ensuring the quality and timely delivery of required analyses, studies, programs, and reports;
  • Providing financial expertise and continuous information to internal or external partners of the company in order to support investment decisions;
  • Active participation in important meetings: expressing opinions on topics related to operational aspects;
  • Manages special requests from the management team.

Skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Financial modeling skills (preparation of templates/models for budgeting, execution monitoring and relevant/flexible reporting);
  • The ability to organize and plan;
  • Results orientation, proactive attitude, flexibility;
  • Responsibility, attention to details;
  • The ability to build relationships based on trust at any hierarchical level;
  • Excellent presentation skills and effective communication at any level with which they interact.
