About this Role

We are seeking a motivated student or recent graduate to join our international software development team as a Software Developer Associate. In this role, the individual will contribute to the development of strategic tools used across Vodafone Group and local markets. The focus will be on automating the lifecycle of SDWAN products, including provisioning, inventory, alarms, and API standardisation. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex systems involving databases, business logic, and integrations, while gaining exposure to a wide range of technologies in a collaborative, global environment.

What you will do

  • Develop well-structured, maintainable code in line with company standards
  • Document system changes and enhancements clearly
  • Collaborate effectively within a distributed team environment
  • Contribute to impact analysis for changes affecting other systems
  • Participate in the full product development lifecycle, from requirements to delivery
  • Provide accurate time and effort estimates for new features

Who you are

  • Currently enrolled in a university programme or a recent graduate (within the past year)
  • Experience in software development using Python, APIs (TM Forum), FastAPI, and testing frameworks for unit and integration testing
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage
  • Exposure to SDWAN or networking concepts is a plus
  • Experience working with non-relational databases such as MongoDB and Neo4j
  • Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum; SAFe experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
