About this Role

We are seeking a Change, Communications & Training Specialist to help drive the successful adoption of Vodafone’s Group Data Management Risk (DMR) framework across markets and Group functions. DMR is a priority risk area for Vodafone, focused on reducing the risk of data breaches, misuse, manipulation, poor quality, inappropriate sharing, or unavailability, while helping the business unlock more value from trusted data.
This role will be part of the VOIS delivery team supporting the Group DMR programme, working closely with the Delivery Lead, Scorecard Lead, Data Governance Specialists, the Group D&A Programme Manager, and Vodafone Group experts. Together, the team will help accelerate the rollout of DMR controls, adoption measurement, training, communications, and sustainable ways of working across markets.
You will lead the change, communications, and training workstream, ensuring that DMR is not only understood, but adopted and embedded into everyday behaviours. This includes translating complex data governance and risk concepts into practical, audience-specific communications and learning, supporting market readiness, building capability, and helping stakeholders understand what needs to change, why it matters, and how success will be measured.

What you’ll do

  • Define and deliver the end-to-end change, communications, and training approach for the Group DMR rollout across multiple markets and Group functions.
  • Build stakeholder readiness by helping market, Group, and VOIS teams understand the DMR framework, expected behaviours, accountabilities, and adoption requirements.
  • Develop clear, targeted, and value-led communications that explain the purpose of DMR, the impact of change, and the actions required from different stakeholder groups.
  • Deliver scalable, role-based training that enables practical adoption of DMR controls, data governance expectations, and assessment ways of working.
  • Support the rollout of DMR adoption across markets, using a structured approach aligned to programme phases, assessment waves, governance milestones, and business readiness.
  • Establish adoption measures and feedback loops to track engagement, training effectiveness, behaviour change, and market readiness.
  • Work with the Delivery Lead, Scorecard Lead, and Data Governance Specialists to ensure communications, training, and adoption activity is integrated into the wider programme plan.
  • Support the creation of reusable assets, playbooks, guidance, templates, and engagement materials that enable consistent adoption across markets.
  • Help embed DMR into business-as-usual ways of working through ongoing communications, training refresh, local ownership, champion networks, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify adoption risks, engagement gaps, and barriers to change, recommending targeted interventions to improve understanding, execution, and sustainment.

Who you are

  • Experienced in designing and delivering change, communications, and training strategies for complex, multi-market or matrixed organisations.
  • Able to translate complex topics into clear, practical, and engaging messages for different audiences, from senior stakeholders to operational teams.
  • Experienced in supporting transformation programmes where adoption, behaviour change, stakeholder engagement, and measurable outcomes are critical to success.
  • Comfortable working in data, risk, governance, compliance, controls, technology, or regulated environments, with an interest in how good data management reduces business risk.
  • Able to design and deliver scalable, role-based training that builds capability and supports practical application, not just awareness.
  • Confident using adoption metrics, feedback, and insight to track progress, identify gaps, and continuously improve the change approach.
  • Skilled at working across global teams, influencing stakeholders, and building strong relationships in a complex delivery environment.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working with ambiguity as programme scope, ownership, and rollout plans evolve.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator with excellent presentation skills and the ability to create high-quality PowerPoint materials.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Change management certification is required. A recognised communications or learning and development qualification is desirable.
  • Experience in data governance, data management risk, data quality, data catalogue, data ownership, lineage, controls, or risk remediation would be beneficial.

What's in it for you

  • The opportunity to play a visible role in a Group-wide priority programme focused on trusted data, risk reduction, and better business outcomes.
  • Exposure to a high-impact transformation agenda across Vodafone Group, VOIS, and multiple operating markets.
  • The chance to shape how complex data management and risk controls are understood, adopted, and embedded into everyday ways of working.
  • Experience working as part of a specialist VOIS delivery team alongside programme delivery, scorecard, and data governance experts.
  • The opportunity to build reusable communications, training, and adoption assets that can scale across markets and future initiatives.
  • A role where your work will directly influence stakeholder readiness, behavioural change, and measurable adoption outcomes.

What skills you will learn

  • How large-scale data management risk programmes are mobilised, adopted, and embedded across global organisations.
  • How data governance, controls, ownership, scorecards, and risk remediation come together to reduce enterprise risk.
  • How to design change and training approaches that support evidence-led adoption and measurable behavioural change.
  • How to work with senior stakeholders, market teams, governance experts, and delivery leads in a complex global transformation environment.
  • How to turn complex regulatory, risk, and data governance requirements into practical communications, training, and engagement materials.
