Controlling and Reporting Specialist

(Part Time)


 

Your role in a nutshell: 

To provide transparent, timely, accurate and reliable information to the stakeholders about financial performance. To understand the reporting needs of the stakeholders, and develop and continuously improve the regular and ad-hoc reports in order to support management decisions and the controlling and budgeting process. To operate the planning and reporting system, preparation of financial analyses, forecasts and reports for internal (the Group, regions, the Board) and external audience. To work with the business and cross functional teams to explain and justify performance against forecast and prior periods. To identify control weaknesses and strengthen control environment.


 

What you’ll do:

  • Supports the planning of the future results, budgets, forecasts and long range plans, providing appropriate commentary and explanation.
  • Supports the preparation and presentation of monthly results, budget spending and forecasts and associated analysis, providing appropriate commentary and explanation.
  • Provides support for the cost recovery process through supporting the development and maintenance of the recharge model. Continuously tracks and analyzes own costs to enable the definition of the best final price towards business customers.
  • Ensures cost effectiveness through close monitoring of cost occurrence/ spending.
  • Develops and analyzes management accounting information.
  • Supports the preparation and review of basis financial statements.
  • Provides support in identifying control and strengthening the control environment.
  • Prepares regular and ad hoc reports in to support management decisions, and the controlling and planning process. Supports high complexity reporting of global stakeholders. Shares best practices regarding reporting.
  • Drives efficiency improvement through involvement in developing the systems and processes around reporting and forecasting. Is actively involved in the development and continuous improvement of the reports. Leads process related developments.
     

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • accounting and financial reporting knowledge and experience
  • experience in working in a financial reporting and planning team
  • end-to-end knowledge of the Finance and Reporting function
  • fluent English
  • computer skills (MS Office, esp. Excel, SAP Finance, SAP Spend tool)
  • SSC experience (desired)
  • presentation skills
