Controlling and Reporting Specialist - Senior
Your role in a nutshell:
To provide transparent, timely, accurate and reliable information to the stakeholders about financial performance. To understand the reporting needs of the stakeholders, and develop and continuously improve the regular and ad-hoc reports in order to support management decisions and the controlling and budgeting process. To operate the planning and reporting system, preparation of financial analyses, forecasts and reports for internal (the Group, regions, the Board)
and external audience. To work with the business and cross functional teams to explain and justify performance against forecast and prior periods. To identify control weaknesses and strengthen control environment.
What You'll do:
• Supports the monthly reviews during the closing process, coordinates the preparation of the review materials.
• Works with the business and cross functional teams to explain and justify performance against forecast and prior periods.
• Drives and supports the planning of the future results, budgets, forecasts and long range plans.
• Act as a business consultant in terms of financial process related areas. Identifies improvement ideas.
• Provides support to process optimization projects and process design. Identifies process gaps and elaborates solution, promoting the process toward automated environment.
• Coaches other colleagues and improves their finance and process skills.
• Actively contributes to the finance related system developments.
• Drives the preparation of regular and adhoc reports, puts together a management reporting pack.
• Identifies control weaknesses and sets up a relevant control environment.

What you’ll bring to the team:
• accounting, finance, controlling and financial reporting knowledge and experience
• end-to-end knowledge of the Finance and Reporting function
• computer skills (MS Office, esp. Excel, SAP Finance, SAP Spend tool, Hyperion, OHP)
• SAP ECC and BW knowledge (desired)
• SOX, IFRS and local GAAP knowledge
• coordination skills
