Your place in the team 

To support the in-house data analysis and tool development activities to gain insight on CEX based on network and crowdsourcing data.


You will be involved in the following tasks  

•Drive customer centric projects based on data science and advanced analytics end-to-end.
•Understand, analyze and document business and network requirements/problems
•Work together with network and analytical teams of Vodafone Hungary
•Design, develop and maintain on-prem relational databases, queries and scripts
•Create and optimize queries and scripts in big data on GCP
•Test hypotheses from raw data sets, draw meaningful conclusions, and effectively communicate results verbally, in writing, and through effective visualization.
•Develop Machine Learning models and deliver cloud-based solutions for complex use cases to maximize the business value of data as an asset.
•Prepare the transition of the existing databases/applications to a cloud/Kubernetes environment
•Evaluate and improve the performance of the network model portfolio (both scientifically as well as from a business perspective)

We are looking for you if you have 

•Master’s or Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in quantitative fields like Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering
•3+ years analytical, data science experience
•Experience in the whole E2E Big Data solution process: 1. data processing, 2. model-building & testing/validation, 3. putting into production
•Experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle)
•Practical experience with cloud-based Big Data services (Google Cloud Platform preferred, Google Data Analytics certification is an advantage)
•Expertise in data manipulation: use of structured data tools (e.g. PL-SQL), unstructured data tools and platforms (e.g. Spark, Hadoop, GCP BigQuery)
•Competent in statistical packages and ML libraries (e.g. Python, SciPy, NLTK, Keras, H2O)
•GIS knowledge (QGIS, ArcGIS) is an advantage
•Able to translate technical content to business audiences in a way that delivers the most value
•Familiar with leading visualisation tools (e.g. QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableau, Grafana)
•Openness to learn and cope with network technology
•Solid problem-solving capabilities
