Your place in the team 

The mission of the Data Team is to turn Vodafone into a Data and AI driven company that impresses customers by personalized and relevant offerings and outperforms competitors in a long term.
As member of the Advanced Analytics team you should ensure that all our activities are based on actionable customer insights and deliver a win for the customer and Vodafone. 
You will also strongly contribute to external data monetization use cases in line with the company strategy.

You will be involved in the following tasks  

•Contribute to cross-functional projects using advanced data modelling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
•Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics support that support critical business decisions
•Design and build technical processes to address business issues
•Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyse business functions, key operations, and performance metrics
•Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes
•Manage and optimize data intake, validation, mining, engineering processes, modelling, visualization, and communication deliverables
•Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing, and product teams
•Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs
•Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside the company

 

We are looking for you if you have
•3 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data,
•Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables, subqueries, and analytical queries, preferably on Google Standard SQL dialect.
•Experience working with Python and the PyData ecosystem 
•Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analysing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
•Experience with applying statistical modelling techniques and machine learning techniques (supervised and unsupervised learning)
•Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards.
•Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities, and good communication, and collaboration skills.
•English proficiency
•Nice to have: Experience with data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense, etc.
