Demand Management Specialist - Senior

Your role in a nutshell:

 

The Senior Demand Management Specialist will be responsible for providing overall governance of demand management, ensuring the quality of the end-to-end demand management process. They will act as the single point of contact until the end of the demand lifecycle, tracking and pushing the approval of the demands and the solution of the customer requests. If needed, they will investigate standard solutions and potential external solutions, managing customer demand projects fully or partially and make status reports to the Steering Committee.

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Drives the demand management process and ensures that demands are captured, assessed, and are implementable/ scalable with agreements on delivery commitments made by the implementation and operations teams.
  • May coordinate transition and implementation projects as well.
  • Drives the prioritization of demands.
  • Highlights any arising risks, provides mitigation plan, also brings any issues up and applies problem-solving techniques to resolve them.
  • Chairs the Demand Board meetings.
  • Examines local standard solutions, and also looks for solutions externally. Makes proposals for 3-4 alternative technical solutions.
  • Engages with 3rd parties and (internal and external) IT teams.
  • Tracks the demand process from the idea of a request until the functionality is delivered to the business.
  • Identifies and communicates any deviation from the demand management process, defines and implements corrective actions.
  • Tracks capacity (resource, budget) planning and their use during delivery. Budget up to
  • €100m.
  • Promotes the Demand management function across all regions.
  • Creates and manages measurement systems to track the utility and profitability of changes.
  • Creates weekly/ monthly reports on the changes and demands.
     

 

What you will bring to our team: 

 

  • experience of an IT methodology or process model (e.g. ITIL)
  • 3-4 years of demand management experience
  • experience in project/ process/ change management
  • telecom and SSC experience
  • SAP system/ application maintenance and development knowledge (desired)
  • fluent English language knowledge
